LDS and ZLSD Collect Signatures to Change Electoral Legislation

Ljubljana, 13 January - ELECTIONS/LEGISLATION/CHANGES
The ruling Liberal Democrats (LDS) and the opposition United List of Social Democrats (ZLSD) have urged all parliamentary factions to sign a petition in a bid to change the constitution in order to give way to a combined voting system. Should this change prove impossible to be effected, the factions have been called upon to collect signatures for an alternative change to the constitution. The appeal was made on Thursday by the heads of the LDS and ZLSD parliamentary factions, Tone Anderlic and Miran Potrc.
