No Flu Epidemic Yet, But Hospitals Have Already Limited Visits

While Slovenia is still awaiting a flu epidemic, the majority of Slovene hospitals have already restricted or banned visits to hospitalised patients in a bid to prevent the illness from spreading too quickly. While around 2,000 cases of acute respiratory infections and colds per 100,000 inhabitants have been recorded this week, only 20 cases of flu and similar illnesses per 100,000 inhabitants have been reported.
