Last Week at the LSE Marked by SKB Bank Shares

Ljubljana, 15 January - STOCK/EXCHANGE/WEEK
Last Week at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange was marked by a 8.24 percent rise in the prices of the SKB bank shares to SIT 2,361 (DM 23.61). This came as a consequence of the announced merger of the second and third largest Slovene banks, Nova Kreditna Banka and SKB bank. Last week's turnover at the LSE totalled SIT 4.8 billion (DM 48 million).
