Hermes Plus Group Takes Over Macek

Ljubljana, 18 January - INFORMATION/TECHNOLOGY/HERMES/PLUS
The Ljubljana-based Hermes Plus group, the leading computer systems integrator in Slovenia, Croatia and Macedonia, began the year 2000 with an expansion. Consisting of four companies in Slovenia alone, the group took over Celje-based company, Macek. Hermes Plus became 100% owner with a purchase price of SIT 100 million (DEM 1 million) and thus gained an important share of the Celje-region market. Macek, which deals mainly with computer communications, thus joined Hermes Plus, HPC, Probis and Icos.
