Simobil and Mobitel Subscribers Now Reachable in the USA

Two Slovene mobile telephone operators have recently reached roaming contracts with several U.S. mobile telephone operators to make the users of their GSM services reachable also in Northern America. While Simobil completed network testing with Nextel, a company with the largest digital network in North America, Slovenia's leading operator, Mobitel, signed roaming contracts with Omnipoint, Powertel, Aerial and Voicestream in December.
