Krka Sales Up by Four Percent in 1999

Novo mesto-based pharmaceutical company Krka sold SIT 51.6 billion (euro 261.9 billion) of goods and services in 1999, which represents a four-percent increase over 1998. Exports amounted to SIT 38.3 billion (euro 194 million), while Krka's profit increased by several percent over the 1998 figure, it was revealed at Thursday's press conference by Director Milos Kovacic.
