LDS Council in Favour of Majority System of Voting

Ljubljana, 25 January - The Council of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS) backed a two-round majority electoral system in a closed-door session on Tuesday. The highest body of the No. 1 ruling coalition party believes that a law introducing the majority electoral system should be adopted for the 2000 parliamentary election. The law should in addition include constituencies.
