Drnovsek to Attend WEF Meeting

Ljubljana, 26 January - WEF/DAVOS/DRNOVSEK
Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek will leave Slovenia for Davos on Thursday, to take part in the 30th World Economic Forum (WEF). This will be the tenth time that Drnovsek will participate in the annual WEF meeting, which will be attended by important international political, business, academic and media figures. The meeting called 'New Beginning - Making a Difference' will cover issues that the world is faced with as it enters the third millennium, including: globalisation, free markets, electronic transactions and biotechnological advancements (more specifically genetic engineering).
