Slovenia Hosts First Workshop on Light Weapons Within Stability Pact

A first workshop on light weapons within the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe was held in Ljubljana on Thursday. The workshop aimed at discussing the issue of light weapons in the region and put forward concrete proposals to deal with it. The participants agreed that a regional approach is required in order to deal with the problem, and urged the countries to express their needs so that the donors could provide help.
