EC Delegation Head Has Not Been Appointed Yet, EU Officials Say

Ljubljana, 31 January - The new head of the delegation of the European Commission to Slovenia has not been appointed yet as the internal nomination procedures in the European Commission and diplomatic procedures in Slovenia have not been concluded. Once they are, the delegation will make public the name of its new head, EC representatives in Ljubljana said on Monday in response to a report stating that the post in Ljubljana will be taken over by Eric van der Linden, currently in charge of Turkey in Brussels.
