Six Front-Runners for the EU Call for Completion of Negotiations in 2001

Kranj, 5 June - Foreign ministers from the six front-runners for EU membership called upon the EU to complete in 2001 full-membership talks with those candidate countries which are ready for membership. This was agreed upon at their meeting at Brdo pri Kranju, some 30 km northwest of Ljubljana, on Monday.
