Kacin Attends Conference on SE Europe and EU Candidate Countries in Lisbon

Lisbon, 6 June - Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for International Relations, Jelko Kacin participated in the conference of presidents of foreign affairs committees from EU members states, the European Parliament and Parliament's from the associated members, which took place on Monday and Tuesday in Lisbon, it was reported from parliament. At the discussions Kacin highlighted the issue of the international position of SE Europe, the need for financial assistance in the region and the urgent need to conserve the democratic alternative in Serbia. He made special mention of the progress made by Croatia, and reminded the participants that the greatest foreign investor in Bosnia is Slovenia. Kacin highlighted the need for foreign investments in Bosnia, something that would allow the opening of new jobs.
