Hearings Run Into Trouble As Second Round Nears

Ljubljana, 6 June - A day before the extraordinary session of parliament and the second round of voting on the ministerial candidates filed by Prime Minister Andrej Bajuk problems were caused by the question of the need of renewed hearings of ministerial canididates before the competent parliamentary bodies. The commission on parliamentary procedures is expected to assist in a resolution to the problem when it meets before the Wednesday's afternoon extraordinary session, in attempt to solve whether renewed hearings of the ministerial candidates on Bajuk's list are necessary or not.
