Several MEPs Are Protesting Over Kucan's Speech, Fontaine writes

Ljubljana, 7 June - In a letter to Slovene President Milan Kucan, President of the European Parliament Nicole Fontaine has passed on feelings of "surprise and disapointment" shared by several MEPs over some of Kucan's statements in a recent speech given before the European Parliament. The complaints of the MEPs were especially directed towards parts of Kucan's speech in which he referred to "painful issues of the past."
