President Kucan Replies to Fontaine's Letter

Ljubljana, 8 June - Slovene President Milan Kucan replied to a letter addressed to him by President of the European Parliament Nicole Fontaine in which Fontaine expressed "surprise and disappointment" from a number of members of the European Parliament and different deputy groups over certain statements made in Kucan's recent speech before the parliament. These mainly refer to "painful issues from the past".
