Koper Port Transhipped Almost 673,000 Tonnes of Merchandise in May

Koper, 12 June - The Koper Port transhipped 672,693 tonnes of goods last May, which makes an increase of six percent year-on-year, but falls 5.5 percent short of the target figure. In the first five months the company handled almost 4.2 million tonnes of goods and exceeded the plan by 17 percent and last year's figure by 22 percent as well as metting 50 percent of the 2000 annual plan (SIT 8.5 million tonnes).
