Slovenes Ready for Their First Match at the Euro 2000

Brussels, 12 June - There is only one day left until the historic first match of the Slovene national football team at the Euro 2000 against Yugoslavia in Charleroi, Belgium. The team is scheduled to play its first match in big international competitions on Tuesday at 20:45. The head coach Srecko Katanec, will announce the names of eleven players who will start the match 75 minutes before the event, while the players are eagerly awaiting the first whistle of the referee.
