In Addition to an Opposition Party, the Government SDS Puts Forward Proposal to Break Voting Legislation Deadlock

Ljubljana, 15 June - The government Social Democratic Party (SDS) filed on Thursday a constitutional bill on a referendum on the electoral system with the parliamentary commission for the electoral system and constitutional change. The SDS thus suggests that a Swiss model of referendum be introduced in Slovenia. This was said to the press by Branko Grims, a member of the SDS executive board.
