SBI and PIX Close the Week Lower

Ljubljana, 17 June - Last week at the Ljubljana Sock Exchange was marked by dropping prices of shares, as almost all major shares in the official listing segment A depreciated. The overall turnover totalled SIT 4.7 billion (almost 23 million euros), 69 percent of which was handled in securities quoted on the official stock market, and 31 percent in securities on the free market. The SBI share index closed Friday's trading at 1646.89 points, which was down 2.32 percent from the week before, while the authorised investment companies' index PIX depreciated 2.16 percent to 1311.49 points.
