Central Bank to Issue a New 10,000 Slovene Tolar Banknote Tomorrow

Ljubljana, 18 June - BANKING
Bank of Slovenia will issue a new 10,000 Slovene tolar banknote as of Monday, 19 June. In comparison to the previous SIT 10,000 note, the new banknote will be additionally protected from forging by a fluorescent strip on the right side of the note. The central bank announced that the previous banknote issued on 28 June 1994 still remains valid.
