An International Seminar on Consumer Protection Opens in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 19 June - CONSUMER/SEMINAR
Representatives of consumer organisations of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Yugoslavia and Macedonia have gathered in Ljubljana for a two-day seminar on consumer protection. On Monday, the first day of the meeting, the participants will be informed on the guidelines for the consumer protection policy in Central and Eastern Europe, while later on they will focus on co-operation and transition of Slovenia's experience to consumer organisations in SE Europe, said Breda Kutin, the director of the International Consumer Research Institute (MIPOR), which organised the seminar.
