DeSUS Rejects Sunday's Speech on Liberation Struggle as Deception

Ljubljana, 20 June - Slovene Pensioners' Party (DeSUS), one of the three partners in the former coalition Government, has rejected the views expressed by Justin Stanovnik at Sunday's commemoration for the victims of post-World War II killings at Kocevski Rog, who claimed that the liberation struggle was a deception. DeSUS will continue to strive for a realistic assessment of the past as the only possible firm foundation for a constructive co-existence of the citizens sharing opposite points of view, the party expressed in a statement on Tuesday.
