Kucan Receives Representatives of the World and the European Consumer Organisations

Slovene President Milan Kucan received the leadership of the world and the European consumer organisations on Tuesday. Kucan was mainly interested in the relationship between the world consumer organisation and the WTO from the point of view of globalisation and the problems faced by consumers around the world, President's cabinet reported. Officials agreed that civil as well as institutional arrangements are needed in order to provide effective protection of consumers.
