Large Criminal Group Uncovered, 9 Persons Charged

Ljubljana, 20 June - At Tuesday's press conference, the Slovenj Gradec Police presented the successful completion of an extensive operation in which 72 criminal police officers and uniformed police officers from the Maribor and Slovenj Gradec took part in. The operation began in 1999 and uncovered a criminal group which is suspected of committing extortion, drug dealing and weapon dealing in the whole of Slovenia.
