Slovenia Prepares to Make Quest for Quarter-Finals

Ljubljana, 20 June - Wednesday will once again be a historic day for the Slovene national football team which is currently participating at Euro 2000. In the third and final match of the group stage they will play against Norway in a bid to secure a quarter-final place. In order for their ticket to be punched for the quarter finals, the Slovene team needs to beat the Norwegians and must hope that the match between Spain and Yugoslavia does not finish in a draw. Norweigian manager Nils Johan Semb is warning his team of complacency and confirmed that the Slovene team cannot be seen as the underdog, especially since they improve after each match played.
