President Kucan Writes to Janez Podobnik on Electoral System

Ljubljana, 21 June - Slovene President Milan Kucan on Wednesday wrote a letter to Speaker of Slovene Parliament Janez Podobnik, asking him whether and when it is possible to expect changes of the electoral legislation. In Kucan's opinion the changes of the electoral system are such an important issue for the citizens of Slovenia that the decision on the future electoral system should be passed at a referendum.
