Cankar Places Second in Spain

Madrid, 22 June - Slovene record breaker Gregor Cankar, who won a bronze medal at last year's athletics world championship in Seville, placed second in long-jump at the athletics meeting in Spain's Rivas. Jumping 8.01 metre, Cankar was only out-jumped by Jamaica's James Beckford (8.29).
