Regio-Swinger Takes a Demonstration Drive from Ljubljana to Novo Mesto

Ljubljana, 22 June - Regio-Swinger, one of the most modern trains of the German producer Adranz of the business group Daimler Chrysler, on Thursday performed a demonstration drive from Ljubljana to Novo Mesto, southeastern Slovenia, and back. The train is run by a diesel engine and has electrically actuated tilting system, which shortens the time of travel and at the same time offers more comfort. The train with 146 seats can reach the maximum speed of 160km/h.
