Slovenia Will Be Ready to Join the EU by the End of 2002, a Senior Official Says

Prague, 22 June - Foreign Ministry State Secretary Mitja Drobnic on Thursday reiterated Slovenia's determination to be ready to enter the EU by the end of 2002. Drobnic attended a conference on the topic "On the Path towards the European Union" organised in Prague by the foundation Bohaemia and attended also by European Commissioner for Enlargement Guenter Verheugen.
