Manifesta 3 Officially Opened (embargo until midnight 23 June)

Ljubljana, 23 June - At midnight on Friday the European biennial of contemporary art, Manifesta 3, was officially opened before the Centre for Graphic Arts in Ljubljana. The guest speakers at the official opening of the largest such event in Europe this year, at which 59 young, mainly unestablished artists from Europe will present themselves, were former Culture Minister and Chairman of the National Committee for Manifesta 3 Jozef Skolc, Minister of Culture Rudi Seligo and the Chairman of the International Committee for Manifesta 3 Henry Meyric Huges.
