Review of the Slovene Economy from 17 through 23 June

Ljubljana, 25 June - The Slovene Finance Ministry was finally officially handed over as former Minister Mitja Gaspari handed over the office to Finance Minister Zvonko Ivanusic during the week. The new Slovene government also continued its personnel changes in the economic sector as they named several new State Secretaries (Peter Velic at the Ministry of Transport and Communications; Sonja Bukovec, Romana Logar and Rastko Hartman at the Ministry of Finance). Agriculture Minister Ciril Smrkolj did not accept the resignation of three state secretaries (Franc But, Tone Svetlin and Maksimiljan Mohoric) at his ministry. The government also dismissed Karmen Dietner from the post of Deputy Director of the Slovene Indemnity Corporation.
