Slovene Marathon Swimmer Begins Record-Breaking Journey on the Danube

Ljubljana, 25 June - Slovene marathon swimmer Martin Strel who is aiming to create history began a record-breaking attempt in the German town of Donaueschingen in Schwarwald, where the source of the Danube river is located. Namely, Strel plans to swim 2860 kilometres from the source of the Danube to its mouth in the Black Sea in a period of two months.
