Minister Peterle Promoting Democracy at Warsaw Conference

Ljubljana, 26 June - Slovenia is striving for more open ways of work in the UN Security Council and expects quick decision-making and the adoption of responsibility in concern to the sustenance of world peace from democratic member states of this world organisation, said Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle at an international conference on democracy held in Warsaw Monday and Tuesday. Peterle also highlighted the meaning of public opinion, which exerts pressure on international and regional organisation to work better.
