Slovene Manager Katanec Signs Extension with Slovene Football Association

Ljubljana, 26 June - Only days after returning from Euro 2000 where the Slovene team surprised everyone there, experts and the public alike, the manager of the Slovene national football team Srecko Katanec signed an extension to his contract on Monday with the Slovene Football Association (NZS). The extension will see him manage the team during the qualification period for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
