Zavarovalnica Triglav Obtains Another 20.5 Percent Share in Abanka

Ljubljana, 26 June - Only a week after establishing a Joint Pension Company with the Nova Ljubljanska banka, insurance company Zavarovalnica Triglav made another strategic move and purchased a 20.5 percent share in the Ljubljana-based Abanka. The transfer of shares was confirmed to the STA by both representatives from Zavarovalnica Triglav and Finsa, while the supervisory council of Abanka must still endorse the purchase. Representatives from both companies involved do not wish to give any further details of the purchase, it is however thought that the purchase price has already been paid in full.
