First Death of the Bathing Season

Ljubljana, 27 June - The bathing season claimed its first victim on Monday as rescue teams pulled the body of a 79 year-old German man from the sea in Portoroz. Police reported that the doctor present could not establish the cause of death, but she assumes that the bather drowned, something which should be confirmed by a postmortem examination. From the collection of information the police were able to establish that the victim was a heart patient so they are not ruling out heart failure as the possible cause of death.
