Participation in the WEU Forum Mainly Lobbying for NATO, Says Jansa

Washington, 28 June - Slovene Defence Minister Janez Jansa, who is attending the annual session of the Transatlantic Forum of the Western European Union (WEU) in Washington on Wednesday, on Tuesday evening took part in a dinner with his counterparts from Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria and Romania. Minister Jansa intends to use the visit in Washington to lobby for Slovenia's membership in NATO, therefore he will meet several influential senior officials.
