Chief Negotiators of Front-Running EU Candidate Countries to Meet in Poland

Ljubljana, 29 June - Head of the Slovene negotiating team with the EU Janez Potocnik with delegation will in Poland on Friday attend the 11th meeting of heads of negotiating groups from the EU candidate countries of the Luxembourg group, the countries that were the first to start accession negotiations with the EU. The officials will discuss the progress the six countries have made under the Portuguese presidency and the strategy to reach progress in terms of contents under the upcoming French presidency over the EU. At the end of the two-day meeting a joint statement will be adopted.
