Government Adopts Report on Slovenia's Progress Towards EU Accession

Ljubljana, 29 June - The Slovene government at its Thursday's session adopted the report on Slovenia's progress towards EU accession, which will serve as one of the bases for the European Commission's annual report on the progress the country has made towards EU accession. While the report will be submitted to Brussels on Friday, the Slovene officials will once again brief the European Commission on Slovenia's progress in September. The annual report by the European Commission will be published at the beginning of November. This year's report will be the basis on which the EU will determine a more precise schedule of the EU enlargement process.
