Prime Minister Bajuk Receives Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Slovenia

Brdo pri Kranju, 29 June - In a speech delivered during a reception held for heads of foreign missions in Slovenia, Prime Minister Andrej Bajuk expressed that Slovene membership in the EU and NATO remain the key strategic goals of Slovenia. "There is a broad political consensus among the parliamentary parties in this regard and also a strong support of the majority of Slovene citizens," added Bajuk. The doyen of the diplomatic corps, papal nuncio Msgr. Edmond Farhat said that foreign diplomats closely followed the course of the recent government crisis. The resolution of the crisis showed the maturity of political reflections and culture in Slovenia, Farhat expressed.
