Room for Improvement in Trade Between Slovenia and the Netherlands

Ljubljana, 3 July - A 30-member government and business delegation which has arrived to Slovenia under the leadership of Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade Gerrit Ybema took part in a business conference with representatives of Slovene companies. Trade between the two countries does not answer to the opportunities. In his opening speech the Dutch Minister stressed the excellent position of Slovenia for a Dutch appearance in the SE European markets, while he also expressed his belief that direct trade between the two countries could also be strengthened. During the business conference the Dutch business representatives were also acquainted with the Slovene economic position, legislation in the field of investment and other opportunities which were presented by President of the Slovene Chamber of Commerce Joze Cuk and the Director of the Office for Economic Promotion and Foreign Investment, Matej Kovac.
