European Affairs Collegium Holds Its Second Session

Ljubljana, 3 July - The collegium for European affairs held its second session on Monday, which was led by Prime Minister Bajuk. The collegium reviewed the legislation that still needs to be adopted as part of the process of bringing the Slovene legislation in line with the EU acquis and is to be sent to parliament for adoption. The government Office for European Affairs will review the acts shortly and will send them to individual competent ministries. The government's goal is to speed up the process of Slovenia's integration into the EU and the harmonisation of the Slovene legislation with the acquis, the prime minister's office reported.
