Parliamentary Elections Should Be Carried Out in Accordance with a New System, Says Drnovsek

Ljubljana, 3 July - Janez Drnovsek, president of the opposition Liberal Democrats (LDS), said after Monday's session of the major LDS body that the main advantages of the LDS at the upcoming elections would be the eight-year experience in leading the country, solid economy and reliable, EU-oriented foreign policy. The LDS council also passed the agreements to perform at the parliamentary elections in autumn together with the Slovene Trade and Entrepreneurship Party and the Primorsko Alliance. The LDS believes that the elections should be carried out according to a new electoral system.
