Primorske novice: Treating the Media with Respect

Koper, 4 July - The freedom of the press is just as important for democracy as free elections. Moreover, Slovenia's path towards democracy was in fact paved by the media and reporters working for them, a local semiweekly writes on Tuesday in a response to last week's reports that the government might interfere with editorial policies of some Slovene papers.
