Vladimir Gasparic Appointed New Slovene Ambassador to China
Ljubljana, 4 July - President Milan Kucan has appointed Vladimir Gasparic Slovenia's new ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to China, STA learnt on Tuesday. Gasparic, aged 50, has previously been Slovene ambassador to Singapore. An economist by trade, Gasparic has spent more than ten years in China as a representative of the company Smelt.
