Development and Exports Are Vital, Says New Economics Minister

Ljubljana, 4 July - "High-tech companies are our goal, but we should be realistic and achieve it step by step, which is a reason why we shall also give our attention to labour-intensive manufacturing", said new Economics Minister Joze Zagoz in an interview for the daily Delo published on Tuesday. Togehter with his aides, the minister intends to follow the guidelines drawn up by his predecessor, yet the new team will put a market-oriented economy with social elements in the focus of their activity.
