Speaker of Slovene Parliament Receives Head of the European Commission Delegation to Slovenia

Ljubljana, 4 July - Speaker of the Slovene Parliament Janez Podobnik received new head of the Delegation of the European Commission to Slovenia Eric van der Linden on Tuesday. The officials discussed preparations before the visit of the European Commissioner for Enlargement Guenter Verheugen to Slovenia on 17 and 18 July who will address the MPs on the second day of his visit. They also discussed the joint meeting of parliamentary committees of Slovene and European respective parliaments to be held next week in Ljubljana.
