3,000 Kilograms of Fish Die at a Fish Farm

Novo Mesto, 4 July - A large number of trout died at a fish farm near Sentjernej, southeastern Slovenia, the owner reported to the Novo Mesto police on Monday. The 3,000 kilograms of fish died from suffocation due to a lack of oxygen in the water, the veterinary inspector found. The damages suffered by the owner are estimated at around SIT 3 million (14,630 euro).
