Carinthian Slovenes in the Viennese Parliament at the 80th Anniversary of Carinthian Plebiscite

The Austrian parliament on Tuesday hosted a delegation of Slovenes living in the south Austrian province of Carinthia along with a delegation of the Carinthian provincial government headed by governor Joerg Haider at the 80th anniversary of the plebiscite carried out in Carinthia, at which the majority of Slovenes living in the region opted for Austria rather than for their homeland, Radio Slovenia reported in the evening news.
