U.S. Supreme Court Judge Attends Debate on Independent Judiciary

Ljubljana, 4 July - JUDICIARY/UNITED STATES/SLOVENIA
U.S. Supreme Court judge Anthony M. Kennedy, who is visiting Slovenia these days at the invitation of the Slovene Judges' Association, on Tuesday attended a panel on universal views of independent judiciary. The panel was also attended by U.S. federal judge Richard G. Stearns, Bostjan M. Zupancic, a judge at the European Human Rights Tribunal, Slovene Constitutional Court judge Zvonko Fiser and Supreme Court judge Marko Sorli. The panel was moderated by president of the Slovene Judges' Association Ales Zalar.
